NBCUniversal Bloodbath: Peacock Fails to Grow Subscribers and Loses $467M

NBCUniversal can’t seem to whip up much consumer enthusiasm for its Peacock streaming service. The highly touted streamer — which features MSNBC programming and original scripted shows like “Queer as Folk” — failed to grow its subscriber base during the second quarter and even lost $467 million in the process.

Comcast Pledges $100 Million for Social Justice Causes

Media giant Comcast will commit $100 million to a three-year plan aimed at promoting social justice causes, including grants to the NAACP, in the wake of the nationwide Black Lives Matter protests, the company announced on Monday.
