Halyna Hutchins’ Family Files Wrongful Death Suit Against Alec Baldwin, Others over ‘Rust’ Shooting

Brian Panish, the attorney representing the family of Halyna Hutchins, announced during a press conference in downtown L.A. on Tuesday that a wrongful death suit has been filed in New Mexico against Alec Baldwin and “others responsible for the safety on set and whose reckless behavior” led to the “senseless and tragic death” of the cinematographer on the “Rust film” set.

Hilaria Baldwin posted a three-minute video to Instagram on Monday, in which she contradicted earlier reports that she and Alec Baldwin were pulled over by Hampton police. “You guys are going to see photos of us that we pulled over on the side of the road to ask for help from a police officer. We were getting chased by this one guy in particular who is just really, really, not very nice,” she said.
