Kidnapped Migrant Toddler Rescued near Border in Texas

El Paso Sector Border Patrol and ICE Homeland Security Investigations agents teamed up to rescue a one-year-old child after human smugglers kidnapped the child. The child is reunited with her mother who was also in Border Patrol custody.

Migrant Mom in Texas Expects Feds to Deliver Abandoned Child to Her

A migrant woman living in Texas told a South Texas border rancher that she “expects” the federal government to deliver her smuggled child to her. A migrant woman, apparently unknown to the family, smuggled the child across the Rio Grande after being handed the child by human smugglers.

Small Migrant Child Drowns in Texas Border River, Swept from Mother’s Arms

A four-year-old Nicaraguan migrant child is believed to have drowned after his 32-year-old mother dropped him as she crossed the Rio Grande. The mother lost the little boy as she crossed the swiftly moving border river just south of Eagle Pass, Texas early Saturday morning. Border Patrol agents continue to search for the child with negative results.

Smugglers Abandon Small Migrant Child at Border in West Texas

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers found a small migrant child who human smugglers abandoned after putting him on the international border crossing from Mexico. The smugglers moved the child across the international boundary mark on the Paso Del Norte border crossing and instructed him to walk north.

Migrant Boy Collapses from Heat After Arizona Border Crossing

Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents saved the life of an 11-year-old boy after he collapsed in the desert on the morning of May 11. The boy was with a group of five migrants who illegally crossed the border near the Tinajas Atlas Mountains southeast of Yuma, Arizona.

A Texas rancher living north of Eagle Pass discovered five unaccompanied migrant children abandoned by smugglers on their farmland Saturday night. The five small girls, ranging in ages from one to six years old, were led across the Rio Grande River and abandoned the evening before. The human smugglers left them with no food, water, or any adults to care for them throughout the night.
